Rikulau was one of the first brands in the world to embrace Reynolds 953. We designed Rikulau 953 bike to be an ultimate racing machine that transfers all the pedaling energy of a rider into forwarding speed. It is stiff, it is fast, it is a road warrior.

Simpliciy
Simplicity emphasizes the beauty of the frame material and the craftsmanship. Unlike other Rikulau graphics designs that are very cultural and artistic, “simplicity” is not fancy, not vivid, not rich, but yes, simply simple. It conveys a message of return to innocence.

Reynolds 953
Rikulau formally launched Reynolds 953 stainless steel product during 2006 Eurobike Show. This product drew a lot of attention during Eurobikeshow, and the Interbike and Australian Cycle show that followed.
Reynolds 953 is the latest innovation of the Reynolds tubing family.It is an ultra-strong, highly impact resistant stainless steel,with the legendary resilient ride of steel.This martensitic-aging material went through doublevacuum remelt process to achieve an incredible ultimate tensile strength of more than 2000 MPa which is surpassed only by carbon fiber among all the materials used for frame building. It is so strong that a 953 tube can be as thin as 0.3 mm which is comparable to an IC wafer..No other bicycle frame material can be thinner.

Originally designed for the military industry, it is highly resistant to impact and corrosion and it has a good metal fatigue property. As 953 has a very high tensile strength, a 953 frame has high stiffness. Therefore, all the pedaling power can be effectively transferred to forward moving speed.
